Over a decade after Elon Musk's hyperloop proposal, no commercial operations have begun, and Virgin Hyperloop shut down in 2023 despite significant investments, reveals TRENDS.

Hyperloop, which is expected to transport passengers and freight at a speed of an airplane, could become a reality before 2030, not after several decades, said DP World CEO Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.

It is predicted that the Hyperloop technology will carry between 45 and 50 million passengers yearly in the Gulf Arab states using clean and renewable energy.
