Tens of thousands of cyclists rode down the skyscraper-lined superhighway that meanders through the middle of Dubai on Sunday morning, taking part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge event. In order to ensure safe passage for the cyclists, the RTA closed the road to traffic for nearly five hours.
