Abu Dhabi Airports, Paris Airports to expand air transport infrastructure

Abu Dhabi, UAE– Abu Dhabi Airports has expanded its existing collaboration with Paris Airports Group (ACG) to focus on collaborating on the creation of the ground infrastructure needed to provide advanced air transport applications in Abu Dhabi.

Based on the agreement signed between the two parties on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022, on ways to cooperate to develop and implement joint development plans, this decision comes after Abu Dhabi Airports completed a comprehensive program of activities aimed at enhancing the contribution of partners, conducting feasibility studies and market assessments, to prepare a clear roadmap for activating advanced air transport applications in Abu Dhabi.

The two parties celebrated the expansion of their cooperation in the presence of a number of members of Abu Dhabi Airports’ executive team, during the opening ceremony of the Paris Airports Group Airport dedicated to vertical take-off and landing aircraft at Saint-Cyr, Paris, and the launch of the group’s test flight by electric aircraft, on the sidelines of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
