Amman, Jordan – Jordan Cabinet on Tuesday approved the executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision (2023-2025 priorities).

The executive program includes a specific time frame for implementation, clear indicators for measuring performance, and an electronic system to follow up on achievement

The program included 183 initiatives, which were selected among nearly 380 initiatives that will be implemented through 418 priorities, with a total cost of JD2.3 billion until the end of 2025, including JD670 million in 2023.

Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh said that the Economic Modernization Vision is a key pillar in the comprehensive modernization project, with its three political, economic and administrative phases.

Khasawneh directed all relevant ministries and institutions to start implementing the executive program within the timelines set forth therein.

He underlined the importance of the vision as a major national project that includes practical and realistic targets that would form a roadmap for the national economy over the next ten years, and would be implemented according to a gradual methodology distributed over the phases stipulated in the vision.
