Sharjah, UAE – Sharjah Taxi reports successful transport of 1.465 million passengers during the first quarter of 2023. With a fleet of 750 vehicles of various models and brands, the company remains committed to ensuring passenger satisfaction, safety, and comfort.

Khalid Al Kindi, the Executive Director of Sharjah Taxi, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing innovative services and prioritizing passenger comfort and luxury experiences. 

Addressing the varying needs of the community, Sharjah Taxi offers a wide range of vehicle options, including family and women’s vehicles, as well as vehicles for people with disabilities. Private vehicles are available at Sharjah Airport, along with taxi routes distributed across the Emirate and the eastern regions.

Sharjah Taxi currently operates a fleet of 364 hybrid vehicles.

Al Kindi highlighted the company’s sustainability strategy, aiming to convert 80 percent of the Sharjah Taxi fleet operating at Sharjah International Airport and Sharjah City into environmentally-friendly hybrid vehicles by the end of 2023.

Al Kindi expressed Sharjah Taxi’s keen focus on the integration of artificial intelligence and smart technologies in the taxi sector, with the aim of enhancing performance efficiency and environmental sustainability. This includes incorporating more hybrid vehicles into the fleet.
