200 digital companies participate in Dubai Chamber’s China roadshow

The chamber focused on attracting leading digital companies and specialized talent to Dubai.

Dubai, China – The roadshow of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy across five cities of China  saw the participation of over 200 digital companies, including MNCs with a collective market capitalization exceeding $10 billion. 

Led by Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the delegation held more than 55 business meetings in cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hainan, Jinan, and Beijing. These meetings served to introduce Chinese companies to Dubai’s thriving digital ecosystem and facilitate their potential expansion into the emirate.

The chamber focused on attracting leading digital companies and specialized talent to Dubai. The chamber also engaged with government officials, incubators, accelerators, investors, and startups, all seeking to leverage Dubai as a gateway for their global ambitions.

As part of the roadshow, two Expand North Star pitch competitions were hosted in Shanghai and Shenzhen. These events attracted over 200 innovative tech startups, with two winners receiving a full sponsorship package to attend the prestigious event in Dubai. Expand North Star, renowned as the world’s largest gathering for tech startups scheduled to take place in Dubai from October 15-18.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said that China remains a priority market for Dubai, and the chamber is committed to attracting digital companies and talent to the emirate, ensuring their success and growth.
