Doha, Qatar -Qatar Airways, British Airways, and Iberia have come together to form a new joint venture In a move to expand international travel options.. The partnership aims to provide seamless connectivity for global travelers through major hubs in Doha, London, and Madrid, covering over 60 countries.

With the addition of Iberia, the national carrier of Spain, to the existing BA-QR partnership, travelers can now enjoy enhanced worldwide connectivity. Iberia will introduce a new daily service from Madrid Barajas International Airport to Hamad International Airport in Doha, starting from December 11, 2023. This will open up access to more than 200 destinations across the three airlines.

The expanded service will operate three times daily on the route, enabling passengers to travel conveniently between the Iberian Peninsula and key markets in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

The airlines will operate flights on the Airbus A330-200, featuring 288 seats in Business and Economy cabins.
