Saudi Scouts Association to participate in Republic Day Camp in India

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association will participate in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) in India from January 16 to 29. This is part of the events held by India in conjunction with its presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) under the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future.”

“The camp, with the participation of 25 countries, includes a series of activities aimed at promoting awareness of cultural traditions and exchange between the participating nations,” Saudi Press Agency report said. “It seeks to enhance values, integration, unity, and diversity while instilling a sense of patriotism, discipline, and leadership qualities.”

The Secretary-General of the association, Dr. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Mudaires, indicated that the association is keen to participate in such events to contribute to highlighting the Saudi identity and culture.

“This, in turn, strengthens bonds of friendship between different cultures,” he said.
