Egis names Bob Hope as MD for Saudi Arabia

    Global French-origin engineering consultancy Egis has appointed Bob Hope as its new Managing Director for Saudi Arabia.

    Hope brings over 15 years of experience in the region to Egis, which over the years has built a reputation as one of Saudi’s leading engineering and technical consulting firms, having worked on landmark infrastructure developments including Riyadh Metro, Riyadh Airport, Green Riyadh and Amaala Airport.

    Globally, Egis has around 16,000 professionals generating over €1 billion in revenues. The firm has been active in Saudi Arabia for some fifteen years.

    After joining Atkins in 2000, he worked on several projects in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, relocating to the region and clambering through the ranks to become Managing Director for the Northern Gulf Region, Middle East and India.

    At Egis, Hope has been tasked with spearheading the firm’s “significant growth plans for Saudi Arabia” across the fields of infrastructure, urban planning and buildings.
