  • Third-quarter revenue rose 14.4 percent to AED 1.3 billion, while EBITDA climbed 39 percent to AED 123.1 million.
  • Free cash flow reached AED 212.1 million, reversing last year's outflow as net debt-to-EBITDA improved to 2.4 times.

Agthia Group reported a 9.6 percent increase in revenue to AED 3.9 billion in the first nine months of 2026, while net profit nearly tripled as the food and beverage company improved profitability and strengthened its balance sheet.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 36.7 percent to AED 433.6 million during the January-September period, the Abu Dhabi-listed company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Net profit reached AED 154.6 million, compared with the corresponding period last year, supported by stronger operating performance and improved execution.

In the third quarter, revenue increased 14.4 percent year on year to AED 1.3 billion, including AED 104.7 million in one-off sales. Excluding those sales, underlying revenue growth was 5.2 percent.

Quarterly EBITDA rose 39 percent to AED 123.1 million, while net profit reached AED 33.2 million, compared with AED 4.1 million in the same quarter last year. The previous year’s quarterly result included impairment charges in the group’s Snacking business.

Agthia said the third-quarter results reflected progress in its multi-year transformation, although operating conditions remained challenging because of persistent cost pressures.

The company said its financial position remained robust, with free cash flow reaching AED 212.1 million in the first nine months, reversing an outflow recorded during the same period last year.

Net debt-to-EBITDA improved to 2.4 times from 2.9 times at the end of December 2025, while cash holdings stood at AED 536.2 million.

Khalifa Sultan Al Suwaidi, chairman of Agthia’s board, said supply chains across the region had come under strain in recent months, highlighting the importance of resilient food companies.

He said the company had continued serving its markets despite the challenges and that the board was encouraged by management’s progress in transforming the business.

Salmeen Alameri, managing director and chief executive of Agthia Group, said the company had strengthened its portfolio and operating discipline over the past year, with progress beginning to show in its financial results.

The group was taking measures to protect its business as input and logistics pressures intensified, while acknowledging the impact of those challenges on performance, he said.

Alameri added that Agthia was developing its innovation, data and digital capabilities as part of efforts to strengthen its competitive position and navigate a volatile operating environment.
