Dubai, UAE — Dubai-based carrier flydubai will introduce a second daily flight to Bangkok from July 18, doubling its daily service on the route less than three weeks after its launch, as strong demand boosts travel between Dubai and the Thai capital during the summer season.
The additional service will increase flydubai’s operations to Thailand to as many as 21 weekly flights. The airline launched daily flights to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport on July 1.
The carrier said the expanded schedule would provide passengers with greater flexibility and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub.
The Bangkok flights are operated under the flydubai-Emirates codeshare partnership, allowing passengers to travel on a single ticket with through check-in and access to a combined network of more than 240 destinations.
The airline has also recently launched services to Benghazi in Libya and plans to begin flights to Aleppo in Syria on July 20 and Pokhara in Nepal on Sept. 23.
