Dubai Chambers legal events draw 1,551 business representatives in H1

Dubai, UAE — Dubai Chambers said it organized 15 legal events during the first half of 2026, attracting 1,551 representatives from private sector companies as it sought to improve legal awareness and regulatory compliance among businesses.

The program included 10 seminars and five workshops delivered with legal experts from leading law firms, covering corporate compliance, employment law, commercial contracts, real estate legislation, intellectual property and corporate tax regulations.

The events also provided guidance on force majeure clauses in commercial contracts under UAE law and examined the implications of the country’s new Civil Transactions Law for contracts, obligations and business activities.

Dubai Chambers said the initiative aims to help companies keep pace with legislative changes, strengthen compliance, reduce legal and operational risks and enhance competitiveness.

Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services Khalid AlJarwan said the events were designed to equip businesses with practical knowledge to support growth and expansion from Dubai into global markets.
