  • Fleet exceeded 50,000 mobility assets as logistics expansion and higher utilisation supported profitability across transport and warehousing operations nationwide.
  • Etihad Rail shuttle operations contributed early gains through integrated first-mile and last-mile services linking Abu Dhabi passenger destinations efficiently.

Dubai, UAE — EasyLease PJSC, a subsidiary of IHC, reported a 38.2 percent year-on-year rise in first-half net profit to 44.9 million dirhams ($12.2 million) on Friday, helped by higher asset utilisation, fleet expansion and improved operational efficiency.

First-half revenue increased 14.8 percent from a year earlier to 398.4 million dirhams, while gross profit rose 28.2 percent to 112.4 million dirhams and operating profit climbed 33.8 percent to 58.0 million dirhams, the company said in a statement carried by state news agency WAM.

EBITDA increased 38.9 percent to 115.4 million dirhams, supported by improved asset utilisation, continued fleet expansion and operational efficiencies across the group.

The company said early contributions from United Trans’ first-mile and last-mile shuttle operations supporting Etihad Rail’s national passenger network also boosted operating performance.

EasyLease said its fleet exceeded 50,000 vehicles and mobility assets during the first half, while its logistics business expanded warehousing, yard capacity and land transport services to meet growing customer demand.
