Dubai Chambers has signed a memorandum of understanding with India’s National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) to expand cooperation on Agentic AI and support Indian companies specialising in the technology in Dubai.
The agreement will focus on developing strategic partnerships among stakeholders in the Agentic AI innovation ecosystems of Dubai and India, exchanging knowledge and expertise and launching joint initiatives.
The two organisations will also support leading Indian Agentic AI and deeptech companies seeking to establish or expand in Dubai by connecting them with business opportunities and the emirate’s wider innovation and partnership ecosystem.
Cooperation will include specialised Agentic AI business events and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening engagement among companies, investors and entrepreneurs in Dubai and India.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said Dubai’s efforts to support the private sector’s transition towards Agentic AI were aimed at strengthening business competitiveness and helping companies use advanced technologies in the future economy.
Dubai Chambers was expanding international partnerships to build an ecosystem supporting the adoption of Agentic AI, improving efficiency and productivity and creating new opportunities for economic growth, Lootah said.
NASSCOM represents India’s $315 billion technology industry and has more than 3,500 member companies spanning the sector from startups to multinational corporations.
As part of its initiative to transition Dubai’s private sector towards Agentic AI, Dubai Chambers formed an Executive Committee for Agentic AI in June.
The committee aims to accelerate adoption of Agentic AI technologies, strengthen the readiness of businesses to keep pace with global technological developments and reinforce Dubai’s position as a hub for the digital economy and future industries.
Its responsibilities include approving specialised Agentic AI training tracks, designing and establishing incubators for Agentic AI companies and supporting the development of companies specialising in Agentic AI solutions.
It also promotes knowledge sharing and capacity building within Dubai Chambers to strengthen private-sector competitiveness and Dubai’s adoption of future technologies.
