L’Oréal ME sales up 750% since 2018

  • L’Oréal Middle East entered into a D2C e-commerce and e-distribution partnership with Dubai-headquartered CNNB Solutions
  • CNNB developed a set of services, which include a model where it Solutions buys inventory from L’Oréal ME

L’Oréal Middle East has seen a rise of up to 750% in e-commerce sales since 2018, said local reports on Monday.

The growth was driven by a direct-to-consumer or D2C e-commerce and e-distribution partnership with Dubai-headquartered CNNB Solutions, said the reports.

The partnership is said to include development and optimization of websites, inventory management, marketplace negotiation, stock planning and warehousing, and delivery logistics via partner Aramex.

The strategy has been deployed across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Egypt, said the reports.

Founded by e-commerce and online shopping experts Charbel Nasr and Nicolas Bruylants, CNNB Solutions is said to have built a suite of turnkey services for L’Oréal Middle East.

The services reportedly include an e-distribution model, where CNNB Solutions purchases inventory from the company.

The strategy saw L’Oréal Middle East recording an increase in average order value of 12%, a 17.5% improvement in delivery rate, and a 235% increase in customer lifetime value across the selected brands since the start of the partnership, said the reports.

CNNB Solutions also apparently handles all consumer enquiries and support, while maintaining rigorous L’Oréal standards.

The local reports quoted L’Oréal Middle East Chief Marketing Officer Mehdi Moutaoukil as saying: “With growing demand for convenient online shopping, CNNB Solutions has streamlined our approach across the GCC region.”
