The United Arab Emirates has decided to give out new visas allowing foreigners to settle in the emirates.

The Green visa and Freelancer visas were among the latest initiatives unveiled on Sunday during the launch of the UAE’s “Projects of the 50” strategy.

The Green visas will allow entrepreneurs and other professionals to live and work in the UAE, while the Freelance visas are for foreigners who are looking to work on their own.

The “Projects of the 50” seeks to contribute to achieving a “paradigm shift” of the UAE economy and support the country’s economic diversification efforts.

The launch of the projects coincides with the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
