Dubai announces projects worth $6.8 billion

The government of Dubai on Sunday, October 10, announced projects worth more than AED25 billion (around $6.81 billion).

The investments were announced at the First Dubai International PPP Conference.

It was organized by the Department of Finance under the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai.

The projects are said to include seven urban development projects worth AED22.58 billion ($6.15 billion).

They also include 14 road and transport projects worth AED2.39 billion ($650 million).

Eight projects in the health and safety at AED526 million ($143.2 million) are also said to be part of the portfolio of the projects.

The Dubai Media Office put out a tweet in this regard saying: “Dubai Government announces portfolio of public-private joint projects worth AED 25 billion during the 1st Dubai International PPP Conference organize by the Department of Finance under the umbrella of Expo 2020 Dubai [sic].”
