Naif Arab University for Security Sciences has signed a cooperation agreement with the Tunisian Ministry of Justice on the sidelines of the scientific symposium “Alternative Punishments to Freedom-Depriving Punishments”, which is organized by the university and the ministry.
The agreement aims at exchanging expertise between the two sides in the fields of academics, research and training programs, symposiums, forums, conferences and workshops, Saudi media reports said.
University President Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah Albanyan and Tunisian Minister of Justice Leila Jaffel signed the agreement.
Naif Arab University was established in 1980 as part of an Arab resolution to form the first Arab university specialized in graduate studies, research and training in all areas of security.
NAUSS specializes in advanced security-related studies at the postgraduate level in the form of diplomas, master’s degrees and doctorate programs.
The university also offers other security-related diplomas, training courses and exhibitions. The medium of study is Arabic and students come from all over the Arab world.
