The Jordan Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places announced Tuesday a program of jurisprudence lessons in the main mosques in various regions of the Kingdom.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the initiative is about enlightening people on the matters of their religious jurisprudence and compliance with the hadith of the Prophet.
The initiative also aims to introduce scholars, mosque pioneers and students of knowledge to jurisprudence and its meanings in Qur’an and Hadith, and a brief study of the history of jurisprudence in the era of the Companions.
The initiative includes – according to the statement – the start of studying the text, and the explanation of the book “Fath Al-Qareeb Al-Mujib.”
Starting from the introduction of the explainer to the end of the book, a jurisprudence lesson will be organized in the main mosques on Tuesdays of every week after Maghrib prayer and until evening prayer periodically, except for the month of Ramadan, which will be after the afternoon prayer and for an hour.
