President of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) Ahmad Zu’bi Sunday said that they have taken effective steps to provide jobs for Jordanian engineers in the Saudi labor market, and promote cooperation and coordination with major Saudi companies.

One in every 40 Jordanians is an engineer, making Jordan the country with the most engineers per capita globally, according to a recent bulletin issued by the Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA).  

Zu’bi, who is also the President of the Federation of Arab Engineers, said Saudi Arabia and its companies in various engineering fields appreciate Jordanian engineers and their proficiency, and their high technical and professional capabilities. 

Zu’bi indicated that he has recently addressed the Saudi Embassy in Jordan, with the aim of cooperating with the JEA to secure and facilitate the creation of jobs for Jordanian engineers in the Saudi market.

He said that the JEA prioritizes the employment of Jordanians in the Saudi market, which has hosted thousands of Jordanian engineers for years, and now has major projects in many regions, implemented by big Saudi companies which provides a wide field for Jordanian engineers with proven qualifications.
