The Ajman Business Women’s Council and Umm Al-Moumineen Women’s Association in Ajman will now work together to empower women.
The two parties signed a pact regarding the same which also involves enhancing cooperation and implementing joint initiatives and projects related to women empowerment.
Also, the pact aims to strengthen women’s societal role, guide them to engage in self-employment fields and diversify their investments and private projects.
Moreover, this will increase their contribution to the process of sustainable economic development.
The MoU was signed by Amna Khalifa Al-Ali and Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad, at the Ajman Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Amna Khalifa is the Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council, while Asmaa Muhammad is the Executive Director of Umm Al-Moumineen Women’s Association.
Amna Khalifa explained that the Women’s Council is keen to expand its circle of partnerships.
This is to ensure the diversification of services provided by the Council to its members and business owners in general, she said.
Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad stressed that the experiences and knowledge of both parties will enhance cooperation and partnership to implement value-added activities.
It would contribute to providing more benefits to the members and affiliates of both the Association and the Council, she noted.
