Saudi-US cooperation to spur growth of digital content market in KSA

Saudi Arabia and the US are exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation and boost investment in the fields of digital economy, innovation and space.

Saudi Arabia and United States Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha  who is on a visit to the US met the president and COO of Omnicom Media Group Daryl Simm with the aim of speeding up the growth rate of the digital content market in Saudi Arabia and developing the creative capabilities of Saudi youth.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation and supporting the IGNITE Program that Saudi Arabia launched during the first edition of LEAP conference to create and produce digital content, in addition to holding creative and innovative digital media events that support Saudi Arabia’s efforts in the fields of innovation and digital economy.
