  • ISLAMICOIN follows recommendations issued by the Office of Crypto Halal for the supervision and Shari’a audit of the work of cryptocurrency markets
  • Crypto Halal will keep checking ISLAMICOIN project every three months for compliance

Despite lingering skepticism, cryptocurrency is becoming popular with investors in the Muslim world also, with the sharia-compliant ISLAMICOIN taking the lead.

ISLAMICOIN is one of the popular e-currencies in the Arab and Islamic world since it is considered safe and is subject to the latest technology updates in the world of crypto and blockchain, said Enas Yacoub, a Project Management Assistant (Bahrain) of ISLAMICOIN and the supervisor of  ISLAMedia, a pan-Islamic streaming platform

ISLAMICOIN project has followed all the controls, standards and Sharia recommendations issued by the Office of Crypto Halal for the supervision and Shari’a audit of the work of cryptocurrency markets .

Crypto Halal will keep checking ISLAMICOIN every three months for compliance.

Islam has strict rules about finance, with the ban on interest being one of the most well-known. There is a $3 trillion finance industry based on the decisions of Sharia scholars and religious experts. Cryptocurrency is going form a significant part of this sector and many prominent religious leaders have issued fatwas allowing crypto-trading.

ISLAMedia: an Islamic streaming platform

ISLAMedia was launched at Dubai’s “Discop Exhibition” as the beginning of ISLAMICOIN’s upcoming projects. The event brought together specialists from the GCC countries.

Yacoub told TRENDS that the ISLAMedia attracted significant attention due to its secure family content and technological excellence, being the first platform in the world to accept payment in digital currency, ISLAMICOIN.

ISLAMedia platform was launched in Dubai’s ‘Discop Exhibition’ as the beginning of IslamiCoin’s upcoming projects.

The Islamic ideals of ISLAMedia are reflected in a wide range of material for the whole family,” said Hassan Krayem, ISLAMedia Manager.

Muslims and non-Muslims can use the site to find safe and high-quality content, including educational, cultural, family-oriented, childrens, food shows, documentaries, entertainment and drama.

Krayem said, “ISLAMedia doesn’t require parental guidance. This is what is special about us.”

In the future, ISLAMedia is expected to become an embedded application sold on every smart tv around the world, allowing one-click access to content.

Also, a blockchain!

The token, ISLAMICOIN, created at Discop Exhibition also led to the idea of ISLAMICBLOCKCHAIN, according to Jonathan Stuart, ISLAMIBLOCKCHAIN Manager.

ISLAMIBLOCKCHAIN is the technology company that will roll out different projects with ISLAMICOIN as the official currency. Additionally, ISLAMIBLOCKCHAIN will develop its blockchain and launch it to house Sharia-compliant cryptocurrencies, he said.

ISLAMIwallet, ISLAMIgame, ISLAMall, ISLAMItravel, ISLAMetaverse and ISLAMIBLOCKCHAIN will be rolled out in the next two to four years, Stuart said. Dubai is expected to play a major role in these endeavors.

I consistently witness that Dubai is on the cutting edge of each innovation and is aiming to become a central hub for cryptocurrency,” he said. This was one of the main reasons for ISLAMedia’s launch in the Emirates.
