Nothing should hold Arab women back: Suzy Kanoo

Suzy Kanoo, a Bahraini CEO and author, said nothing should hold Arabic women back if they want to achieve something.

“Whatever they want to achieve, nothing should hold any Arabic woman back. We are beautiful, we are fantastic. Sky is the limit, nothing should hold us back,” Kanoo told TRENDS on the sidelines of the recently held Arab Women’s Forum, where she was a speaker at a discussion panel ‘Arab Women’s Image’.

Kanoo is CEO and President of the  Khalil bin Ebrahim Kanoo Company and International Motor Trading Agency in Bahrain. She is the author of ‘Hear Us Speak’, which encouraged many women to tell their stories.

“I think all women, not just Arab women but obviously since I am an Arab woman, I am very proud to be an Arab woman, I hope I see nothing holding us back and I think if she believes in herself she can move forward and sky is the limit,” she said.

Arab Women Forum hosted several thought-provoking sessions including ‘The Economic Revolution’, ‘Entrepreneurs’, ‘Boardrooms’, ‘Arab Women’s Image’ and ‘Political Representation’.
