Saudi Arabia eyes partnerships to accelerate growth of digital economy

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia is looking for partnerships  with other countries to accelerate growth of digital economy, technology and innovation. 

Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, held meetings over two days with the ministers of digital economy, and high-level officials of Indonesia, India, China, Japan and the US in the Indonesian city of Bali to discuss the issue after the conclusion of the G20 digital economy working group..

Eng. Al-Sawaha reviewed the successive achievements of the communications and information technology system in the kingdom. 

The meetings also discussed enhancing cooperation in the areas of digital economy growth, emerging technologies, digital government, technical talent development, innovation promotion, and space technologies.
