American singer-songwriter Katy Perry has released a new line of shoes inspired by Egypt and her visit to the country, local reports have said.

Pop diva Perry, also a reality-show judge, visited the country in 2019 to celebrate her 35th birthday.

She is said to have taken inspiration from that visit, and has released two styles of shoes based on that.

Called the Pyramid and the Bettie, the shoes are currently available for sale on her website for the discounted prices of $89 and $59, respectively.

The actual costs are believed to be $129 for the Pyramid, which comes in two colors, and $89 for the Bettie, which comes in two colors. They are also said to be available through Amazon Fashion.

The artiste launched her brand of shoes, called Katy Perry Collections, in 2017. The website used to market these shoes also sells handbags.

Perry has also worn footwear from her collection, in a move that fans said made her seem very down to earth.
