Abu Dhabi updates Covid-19 travel list of ‘green’ countries

DUBAI: Abu Dhabi has updated the list of ‘green’ countries, regions and territories that travelers can travel from without the need for quarantine in the emirate.

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi listed the following countries as ‘green’: Albania, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong (SAR), Hungary, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, New Zealand, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Ukraine.

The list, effective from Friday 12am UAE time, is subject to change based on global Covid-19 developments, the DTC said in a statement.

The statement said the persons who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (final dose received at least 28 days before travel) need not quarantine while traveling between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain Greece, Serbia and Seychelles.
