Bahrain eyes cooperation with Germany in aviation, tourism

Bahrain’s Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani highlighted economic relations binding Bahrain and Germany, stressing the activation of joint cooperation in the sectors of aviation and tourism.

He added that Bahrain also appreciates all efforts aimed to strengthen global partnerships and promote world openness.

Al Zayani was addressing, as a keynote speaker, a round table conference hosted by the German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Boeckmann.

The minister also said that his country attaches value to its relations and international institutions.

He stressed the importance of attracting more expertise and investments, expanding cooperation, and the role of exchanged visits in furthering joint ties.

He noted the role of the private sector in strengthening bilateral relations, boosting the volume of trade exchanges.

The minister highlighted the incentive packages provided by Bahrain for overseas investors, which turned it into a key destination for major projects.

Officials representing both countries were also present at the conference.
