The Dubai authorities have already taken several other steps to secure Expo 2020, which has already been delayed by a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For one, PCR testing and vaccinations are mandatory for all participants of the six-month event.

The authorities have also completed several new transport projects, like a special Dubai Metro station for Expo 2020.

The expo is also expected to see a regular bus service not only to and from the venue within the city but also other emirates within the UAE.
