RAS AL KHAIMAH — Durar, a prominent UAE real estate developer, is set to launch MASA Residences, a luxury residential development in Ras Al Khaimah.

This $190.58 million project, with interiors by YOO inspired by Starck, marks Durar’s entrance into the UAE’s Northern Emirates and is poised to elevate Al Marjan Island’s landscape, a beautiful man-made archipelago.

Christie’s International Real Estate Ras Al Khaimah, affiliated with the globally recognized Christie’s International Real Estate, will exclusively handle sales and marketing for this esteemed development.

This venture represents Durar’s inaugural collaboration with YOO, a brand co-founded by property mogul John Hitchcox and famed designer Philippe Starck.

MASA Residences will showcase studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, as well as ground-floor villas, all offering mesmerizing views of the Arabian Gulf.

Durar Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Alhabib, expressed, “Our goal is to craft high-end branded residences, and Al Marjan Island is the perfect location. Every apartment room provides stunning sea views, and the project’s strategic placement ensures significant capital appreciation for investors and an unmatched living experience for residents.”

Alhabib emphasized the collaboration with YOO, stating, “The island’s booming tourism offers our buyers potential for significant capital gains.”

Jackie Johns, Managing Partner at Christie’s International Real Estate Ras Al Khaimah, remarked on the project’s prime beach-front location and its proximity to the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort. She highlighted the growing development activity in Ras Al Khaimah as a sign of a bright future. “Our research shows a rising demand for homes on Al Marjan Island. We’re confident of a sellout for this premium residential project,” Johns added.

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) reported a 15.6% year-on-year increase in visitors in 2022, with international tourists surging by 40% from countries like Kazakhstan, Russia, the UK, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
