Tickets to Expo 2020 Dubai will be available across the world from July 18 on the event’s official online portal and through resellers, said local reports on Friday, July 2.

The expo, which will go on from October 1 this year to March 31 next year, will have three ticket tiers, said the reports.

    One-day tickets will cost AED95 ($26), multi-day tickets AED195 ($53), and season passes AED495 ($135).

The multi-day passes will reportedly give the holder unrestricted entry for 30 consecutive days, while the season pass will give them unlimited entry for the entire six months of the event.

All tickets will include access to all pavilions, events, and live performances, at the expo, which is expected to have as many as 60 live events on some days.

Anyone under the age of 18 as well as those holding a valid student ID from any academic institution in the world will be given free entry, said the reports. Those aged 60 and above will also be allowed to enter for free.

People of determination — the term used in the UAE to describe differently-abled people — will reportedly get complimentary tickets, with their companions receiving a 50% discount.

Besides being sold on the official website, the tickets will also reportedly be available through more than 2,500 authorized resellers, including online travel agents, tour operators, hotel groups, and airlines.
