The Expo Centre Sharjah on Sunday announced its plans to boost the exhibition industry in the eastern region, with the Jewels of Emirates Show being held for the first time at Expo Centre Khor Fakkan in December 2022.

During a recent meeting at Expo Khor Fakkan, the Expo Centre Sharjah reviewed its strategic plans to organise a series of specialised events over the coming months in order to revitalise the eastern region’s economic activity and meet the requirements and expectations of residents and visitors.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of an inspection visit led by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, and was attended by Khalil Al Mansouri, Director of Expo Khor Fakkan, along with several employees from Khor Fakkan centre.

The meeting also discussed future development plans and strategies, as well as the events and exhibitions that would be organised and held in 2023.

“Expo Centre Sharjah is moving forward with a clear and well-planned strategy that includes development plans aimed at the exhibition industry in the eastern region. This is to keep up with the comprehensive development taking place in that part of the emirate,” Al Midfa stated, stressing that the meeting is part of the Centre’s ongoing efforts to forecast the future of the exhibition sector in the eastern region and develop Expo Khor Fakkan’s potential to hold specialised exhibitions.
