Kuwait Oil Company’s five-year digital strategy to reduce expenses

The Kuwait Oil Company has upgraded its five-year digitalization strategy.

Kuwait — Kuwait Oil Company announced on Saturday that it has upgraded its five-year digitalization strategy, which will contribute to reducing the operating expenses, increasing production and realizing sustainable growth.

The upgrading of the strategy will also enhance safety and security, and help manage risks in a better way, Deputy CEO for gas and innovation at KOC Bader Ahmad Al-Munaifi said, according to KUNA.

“The Company works relentlessly to advance innovation at all sectors, upgrade the operating systems at all facilities and build the capacity of its human resources,” he noted.

Under the supervision of CEO Ahmad Jaber Al-Eidan, the company pursues the digitalization process, which will help realize the strategic goals, improve the national cadres and address the new challenges, Al-Munaifi said, KUNA reported.

“The digitalization strategy aims to make the information technology mainstream in the quest for increased productivity and sustainable development.

“KOC will announce a roadmap for digitalization and launch a massive database during a conference on June 18,” he said, adding that the conference will focus on the applications of artificial intelligence and various forms of digitalization and IT.
