Mrs Bectors subsidiary comes up in UAE

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities has opened a wholly-owned subsidiary company, Mrs Bectors Food International, in the UAE.

  • Following the termination of a JV agreement, the company was renamed Mrs Bectors Food Specialities Private Limited

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities Ltd has said it has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company in the UAE.

The maker of Cremica biscuits said the new company, Mrs Bectors Food International, was incorporated on September 14.

It added that it received intimation of the incorporation on September 17.

The capital of the company shall be AED150,000, or its equivalent in US dollars, said company in a regulatory filing.

Given current mid-market rates, that would bring the capital of the new company to around $40,800.

Mrs Bectors Food International is yet to commence its business operations.

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities Limited was incorporated as Quaker Cremica Foods Private Limited on September 15, 1995, as a private limited company.

Following the termination of a joint venture agreement, the name of the company was changed to Mrs Bectors Food Specialities Private Limited.

This was approved by the shareholders in a resolution dated December 10, 1999.
