Saudi Arabia and the United States have explored ways to enhance cooperation in space technology, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission, Abdullah Amer Alswaha held a meeting with Pamela Melroy, the Deputy Administrator of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in Washington DC in this regard, said the report.

During the meeting, the two countries discussed opportunities for strategic cooperation to develop the space sector.

This meeting was reportedly a part of a tour by Alswaha of the United States, which included visits to American institutions and companies working in the space sector.
