Riyadh, Saudi Arabia –  The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) announced Wednesday that Nearly 500,000 clients have used the social case e-notarization service through the Najiz.sa portal in 2022. In addition, more than one million verifications of client applications have been conducted electronically.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the MoJ clarified that “the e-notarizations cover child custody, endowments, marriages, and legal heirs.” 

The Saudi Notarization Law has transferred a number of such jurisdictions from courts to the notarial e-system, which has contributed to increased automation and better client experience..

E-notarization provides several services that dispense with paperwork and spare clients the need to visit notarial offices for low-risk powers of attorney (PoAs).

Online notarization is legal and secure to use in Saudi Arabia. All transactions through the Notarize platform undergo a dynamic, multi-factor authentication process.
