China, Russia far from ousting US power in GCC: Vision 3 Chairman Khaled Janahi

  • Khaled Janahi, chairman of Vision 3, was speaking to TRENDS on the sidelines of TOP CEO Conference and Awards.
  • He said China has come a long way from the perspective of economy and technological advancement .

Are China and Russia taking over the US power in the Gulf Cooperation Council region? Khaled Janahi, chairman of Vision 3, tends to disagree.

“I would question the question because there are a lot of people thinking that already China and Russia are taking over. There is difference between relationship side of things and what is happening globally,” Janahi told TRENDS on the sidelines of TOP CEO Awards and Conference recently.  Janahi was a speaker at one of the panel discussions.

He said,  “I think to take over from US from the perspective of economy, from the perspective of technological advancement, China has come a long way and even Russia has come a long way but still there is a much much longer way to be ahead of the United States.”
