Washington, US— Jordan’s King Abdullah and US President Joe Biden will hold talks at the White House on Thursday, as part of the king’s visit to Washington, DC.

Talks will cover means to bolster the strategic partnership and ties of friendship between Jordan and the United States through expanding cooperation across various sectors, according to a royal court statement.

Discussions are also expected to cover the latest regional and international developments, especially those connected to the Palestinian cause and the pivotal US role in this regard, in addition to the ramifications of the Ukraine crisis.

The king is in Washington and met with US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy at the Capitol earlier on Tuesday.
