Qatar Red Crescent Society project in Kurdistan benefits thousands

The project is part of the Warm Winter 2021-2022 campaign titled "Home Feels Warm"

  • This will help them to withstand the harsh conditions during the cold winter and improve their living conditions.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) is carrying out a winterization project in Iraqi Kurdistan, which will benefit 8,625 persons.

The purpose of the project is to empower the displaced Iraqis and Syrian refugees at camps and beyond.

It also includes the most vulnerable returnees, and to secure their basic needs such as shelter, health care, food aid, and non-food items.

This will help them to withstand the harsh conditions during the cold winter and improve their living and economic conditions.

QRCS Warm Winter campaign this year aims at meeting the food and winterization needs of around 42,040 families (240,000 persons) in 14 countries.

Worth $100,760 (QR 367,774), the project is part of the Warm Winter 2021-2022 campaign titled “Home Feels Warm”.
