Bahrain and Saudi Arabia discussed cooperation in the fields of agriculture, landscaping, beautification, waste management and water use between the two countries.

Bahrain’s Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak and Saudi’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen Al Fadhli discussed the cooperation prospects.

The Saudi delegation briefed Bahrain’s minister on the farming and environmental practices in Saudi Arab.

Bahrain’s delegation highlighted their efforts in developing agriculture, expanding green area, afforestation and enhancing beautification projects.

It is a step towards achieving the national goals that target zero neutrality by 2060 in Bahrain.

The two sides also agreed to continue cooperation to serve the common sectors and contribute to enhancing food security.
