Al Yahyai is president of Regional Group 7 of International Equestrian Federation

Sharjah, UAE – Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai has been elected president of the Regional Group 7 of the International Equestrian Federation.

The International Equestrian Federation conducted the elections virtually where Al Yahyai won 10 votes.

“The UAE’s election to the presidency of the International Equestrian Federation’s Regional Group 7 represents a valuable addition to the country’s track record in the equestrian sport and promotes the UAE’s success in grooming qualified cadres capable of assuming leading positions in international organisations,” said Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation.

For his part, Al Yahyai said his election success demonstrates the faith the world has in the UAE thanks to the support provided by the country’s  leadership for the nation’s cadres.

Al Yahyai is the Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, and Chairman of the Equestrian and Racing Federation’s Showjumping Committee.
