Dubai, UAE — The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has embarked on the first phase of a series of strategic partnerships with nine leading developers, aimed at bolstering the “Dubai Real Estate Programme.”

DLD said the initiative underscores its commitment to cultivating a skilled citizenry proficient in professional ethics and principles, positioning them to drive the evolution and advancement of the real estate sector.

Future phases will witness additional collaborations with prominent developers and real estate brokers in Dubai, further contributing to the qualification of citizens in the real estate domain.

The agreement aims to collaborate across various domains, including enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati professionals and facilitating their roles in the real estate sector.

Key objectives include designing and implementing high-quality projects through cooperation between DLD and real estate partners in the emirate. Efforts will also be directed towards allocating 10-15 percent of project sales through Emirati brokers.

Furthermore, the agreement seeks to empower national talents by offering job opportunities within the collaborating parties in accordance with prevailing labor laws.

Engineer Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director-General of DLD, along with officials representing prominent real estate development companies, signed the strategic alliance agreement. Notable participants include Emaar Properties, Expo Dubai, Deyaar, DAMAC Properties, Azizi Developments, MAG, Sobha Realty, Ellington Properties, and Al Bait Al Duwaliy Real Estate Development.

Marwan bin Ghalita underscored the significance of this alliance in realizing the objectives of the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme, designed to elevate citizen participation in the real estate market. The program aims to incentivize citizen involvement in real estate activities, thereby boosting engagement in one of Dubai’s pivotal economic sectors.

He stated, “At DLD, we are dedicated to executing the directives of our visionary leadership, emphasizing citizen empowerment across diverse fields. This commitment aligns with the Dubai Social Agenda 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, highlighting the nurturing and enhancement of national skills. We eagerly anticipate fruitful collaboration with our real estate partners to achieve remarkable outcomes, resonating with the esteemed position of Dubai’s real estate sector both domestically and internationally.”

Additionally, the agreement entails joint projects with DLD to advance the real estate sector, foster innovation, and promote sustainability. It also involves providing guidance, professional training, and support for national talents, attracting them to the private sector and enhancing their specialized skills to establish businesses in the real estate market.
