Dubai, UAE – There will be a 25 percent increase in gift purchases for men in 2023 in the MENA region compared to the previous year, during which men received only 3 percentof all gifts, Flowwow, an online gifting marketplace said in its latest research.

This significant rise in sales has been attributed to several factors such as the long-standing tradition of gift-giving as part of the celebrations, thereby driving the demand for gifts.

The introduction of new product categories specifically tailored to male recipients, including confectionery, live plants, perfume, and coffee also played a role.

The high demand for gifts on Father’s Day has contributed significantly to the overall increase in gift purchases for men. As people continue to seek meaningful and thoughtful presents to honor their fathers, the demand for male-oriented gifts has soared.

“Such a significant increase highlights that we’re moving in the right direction as it doesn’t only give us the growth of the number of men among the recipients but also provides small businesses with access to more orders and customers,” Slava Bogdan, CEO, and co-founder of Flowwow, said.

Diverse range of gifts for men includes pastries, mini bonsai gardens, fruit and flower baskets, and gourmet coffee sets.
