10-day Citrus Festival concluded in Hail region of Saudi Arabia

Hail, Saudi Arabia—The second edition of the 10-day Citrus Festival, which was held in Hail region, has concluded after witnessing a large attendance of visitors.
The head of the Hail Agricultural Marketing Cooperative and General Supervisor of the Festival, Khaled Al-Batea said more than 80 participants displayed citrus products from all farms of the Hail region.

Several representatives of restaurants and cafes also participated in the festival that also witnessed sales of citrus products. During the festival, six workshops and a seminar on cooperative societies were held.

Al-Batea said the aim of launching the festival comes with the support of the Emir of the region and his deputy, in order to provide benefit to farmers and create opportunities for investors and those interested in this agricultural, economic and social gathering in the Hail region.

Apart from some of the biggest dates festivals, the kingdom also organizes seasonal fruit festivals in the provinces.

In August, farmers from various parts of the Asir region gathered to showcase their finest produce at the third edition of the Grape and Seasonal Fruits Festival.
