UAE president Sheikh Mohamed holds talks with El Sisi in Egypt

El Alamein, Egypt – The UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with his Egyptian counterpart, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, during an official visit to Egypt. 

The discussions revolved around strengthening the longstanding ties between the two nations. The meeting, held in the Egyptian city of El Alamein, involved a review of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in economic and investment areas. Both leaders stressed the significance of collective Arab action to promote peace, stability, and development within the region.

In the meeting, President Sheikh Mohamed and President El Sisi expressed their commitment to enhancing their partnership, especially in light of the challenges faced by the Middle East. Several prominent officials, including Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, as well as Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr Sultan Al Jaber, attended the talks among others.

Social media posts showcased the UAE leader engaging with the public, exchanging smiles and posing for selfies. 

This recent meeting follows a pattern of diplomatic engagement between the UAE and Egypt. In previous meeting during the UAE president’s visit to Cairo in April, the leaders discussed bilateral relations across various domains and addressed key regional and international issues. 

President El Sisi’s visit to Abu Dhabi in February underlined the reciprocal nature of these diplomatic efforts, with his attendance at the World Government Summit in Dubai.
