Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport, Abha International Airport, Al-Ahsa International Airport and Gurayat Airport are among the top performers on the General Authority of Civil Aviation’s monthly performance reports of the Kingdom’s airports in November.

The airports are assessed according to 11 basic performance measurement criteria.

Among international airports with more than 15 million passengers annually, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah took the first place, with a compliance rate of 91 percent, followed by King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with 82 percent.

In the category of international airports with five to 15 million passengers annually, King Fahd International Airport led with a compliance rate of 91 percent.

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport came second with a compliance rate of 91 percent. King Fahd International Airport outperformed Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in the criterion achievement.

Among international airports with 2 to 5 million passengers annually, Abha International Airport took the first place with a 91 percent compliance rate. King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jizan followed with an 82 percent compliance rate.

In the category of international airports with less than 2 million passengers, Al-Ahsa International Airport achieved a 100 percent compliance rate, outperforming peers in terms of total average waiting time for departures and arrivals.

For domestic airports, Gurayat Airport topped with a 100 percent compliance rate, surpassing peers in terms of total average waiting time for flights departing and arriving.
