Oman’s fixed mobile subscriptions via Internet protocol grew by 3.2 percent to over six lakh in the first eleven months of 2021, according to statistics published by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

During the same period, fixed internet subscriptions totaled 526,367 and the fixed landline subscriptions went up to 577,966, compared to a decline of 3.1 percent in the same period in 2020.

The period saw the capacity of the internet decrease by 2.6 percent to 1,501,777 megabytes.

The number of locally leased circuits reached 4,950, whereas the number of Telex line subscriptions stood at 116 in the period.
