Jordan apprises US delegation of trade opportunities in kingdom

The visit of US’ Nebraska delegation to Jordan is part of the joint cooperation between the JCC and the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC).

The joint cooperation is to support economic cooperation, scientific research and joint business development between Jordan and the US.

President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Nael Kabariti, said this, local media reported.

A JCC statement said Saturday that the delegation, which met King Abdullah, was briefed on trade and investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

A workshop held by the JCC and working meetings with a number of ministers and representatives of official entities, universities and private sector institutions explained about the opportunities.

Kabariti underlined the importance of the visit in enabling cooperation, especially utilizing advanced technology in agriculture and water usage.

It includes discussing food security and providing a strategic stockpile of food for the Kingdom and the Gulf region.

He added that this constitutes strong support for enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the State of Nebraska.
