Qatar and Jordan have signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in air services between the two countries, official sources have said.

The agreement is said to have been formally signed in Qatar’s capital city Doha.

The Acting Chairman of Qatar’s General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mohammed Al-Hajri, signed the agreement on behalf of his country.

Jordan’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission CEO Haitham Misto inked the deal for his country.

The agreement is said to fall within the framework of linking Qatar with air services agreements that open the way for its national carrier to expand destinations network.

Following the deal, the two countries are said to have discussed ways to increase cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
