Saudi organizations launch program to support Yemeni medical facilities

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) announced today the provision of urgent and immediate support to support the capabilities of Yemeni medical centers and hospitals.

The support is to allocate and provide 30 ambulances and highly equipped urgent response vehicles.

This announcement was made during the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between SDRPY and the SRCA, in Riyadh.

It is to build and raise the quality of health services in Yemen, and unify Saudi efforts provided in the health sector in Yemen, which contribute to achieving development and reconstruction efforts in Yemen.

The SDRPY was represented during the signing by the general supervisor of the program, Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, the SRCA was also represented by the head of the authority, Jalal bin Mohammed Al-Owais.
